17th century copper-alloy Spanish candlestick with a flat cast base with an edge, (for strength and to retain the running wax) standing on four small triangular feet, the baluster stem, threaded and screwed to this base, cast and showing the iron strip to support the core when casting, and with a single aperture to the nozzle.
