Sir Edwin Lutyens; mezzotint, the 45th from an edition of 75, engraved by Lawrence Josset and signed by him in pencil, after the original work by Meredith Frampton which 'hangs in the hall of  The Art Workers Guild of which Sir Edwin was Master in 1933'.

Sir Edwin Landseer Lutyens was an English architect known for imaginatively adapting traditional architectural styles to the requirements of his era; of particular note was his planning of New Delhi and the design of the Viceroy's House there. He also designed many English country houses, sometimes working with Gertrude Jekyll, and war memorials, including The Cenotaph, Whitehall.
