Ruffle-Based Georgian Brass Candlesticks
An excellent pair of George II/III brass candlesticks with ruffle bases, originally with twist-eject mechanisms, now absent or jammed, the stems formed in two parts braised vertically through the sockets and pin that unites the stems to the bases.
Typically well finished beneath. Substantial in both their dimensions and weight.
