Each season portrayed joyful and plentiful with cherubs proffering garlands of flowers, sheaves of wheat, bunches of grapes; the character emblematic of Winter warms her hands over a brazier, her carriage pulled by polar bears. Within carved and ebonized ‘Hogarth’ frames period to the prints.
