Triple Snuff Box Celebrating Paul Pry
A triple snuffbox, the smallest of its lids emblazoned with the relief-stamped figure of Paul Pry, as performed most famously by the comic actor John Liston during the 1820’s. Above the figure is stamped his catch-phrase ‘I Hope I Don’t Intrude’, Made by a skilled brasier at the beginning of the 19th century.
Made to fit comfortably into a waistcoat pocket.
