A finely engraved portrait of Pierre Ignace de Braux done by Pieter (Pierre-Louis) van Schuppen (Flemish; working in France between 1627–1702). Published 1661, after the work by Charles Beaubrun (French, 1604–1692).

A fine, sharp and inky engraving, cut to within the plate mark but otherwise in excellent condition.

Within a good copy of a period print frame, ebonized and with a gilt sight edge.
