French Orange Lacquer and Gold Aide Memoire
An amazing Aide Memoire, French, mounted in high carat engraved gold with framed panels of Japanese lacquer, the obverse of the hinged lid with the title fretted ‘SOUVENIR’.
Retaining it’s fine grained green shagreen case. All circa 1775.
