A good Georgian collection of professionally prepared minerals arranged over two lift-out trays divided into 24 sections, each with a hand scripted label identifying the contents. Beneath these two there is a drawer, secured by a pin, with a further 24 minerals kept in the same fashion as those above.
Within a fine mahogany table box standing on turned button feet, drawer pulls, lock and key.
