Eighteenth century tumbler engraved around with the motto Unum Nihil, Duos Plurimum Posse or One Can Do Nothing, Two Can Do Much, and a scene of a lawyer holding the scales of justice and a sailor holding aloft his cutlass. The image and text taken from a German book of crests and mottos (No.4) published in 1732. The foot with a cut and polished detail.
